Conveniently located 5 miles north of Frederick, MD just off RT 15 at the base of the scenic Catoctin Mountains, Woodvale Farms is the ideal place to develop an equestrian athlete, improve your riding, or just enjoy your horse. Our 150 acre campus offers a beautiful home for Stall and Field boarded horses with miles of trails and open fields, over-sized and professionally maintained indoor and outdoor arenas, three boarding barns and training programs for all levels and disciplines.

 

A pivotal part of our mission is environmental stewardship. We recently invested in a farm-owned solar power plant which provides 100% of the farm’s energy needs without using fossil fuels.  This renewable solar energy solution is the heart of our Sustainability mantra which also includes new recycling programs, the latest LED lighting solutions, biological fly control with Fly Predators, manure composting and replenishing the farm’s tree population with almost 3000 new, indiginous trees planted.
